Can all children please bring a named water bottle everyday.
We have PE on Wednesdays and Fridays. Can all children please come to school in their PE kit on these days.
Autumn 2 English
This half term we are creating fact files about animals in the Antarctic and Arctic. This builds on the knowledge from our new topic: Frozen Kingdoms. Later in the half term we will be learning about diaries and creating our own as if we are famous explorers. For example, Ernest Shackleton who attempted to walk across Antarctica in and expedition in the early 20th century.
Autumn 2 Maths
We will be continuing our learning using the Power Maths scheme this year. This half term we will be learning about the four major operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division). This will lead into our work on fractions with Mrs Brind on Wednesdays.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
